Got my engine in and timed. It is running great.

Got my rear motor mount fabricated and that is working

Now I have a shifting issue.

I have a modified Jamer side shiftier.

If I adjust it for 1-4 engage good reverse does not engage all the way and wants to pop out.

If I adjust it for reverse engages good  the 1st does not engage as good.

At 1 point I had it for 1 & 3 would engage right but Reverse, 2 and 4th would not

Right now I have them all engaging  but I have to double clutch to get into reverse.

At 1 time everything engaged correctly with this setup I have

I have been readjusting this for the last couple hours

I was having no luck

At the end I decided to go back to my baseline where I started.
Last year I made scribe marks when it was working correctly just for I would know where it was before I started in case I needed to adjust anything

Once I did that it started shifting a lot better.

I do not know what I did because it I put them back on the marks I basically did not make any changes

I did not see that they moved from the marks but maybe I missed one adjustment that did.

SO its working now.

Glad you got it figured out. It's a real pain when you can't find the gears you are looking for.

I think what happened is what you said.
The extra torque and movement of the engine screwed up my linkage adjustment

It have been just a matter of removing backlash in gears.

tightened all the bolts back down and it has been working fine ever since
